We provide support services for consumers with complex care needs with a diagnosis of learning disability and or autism, so as to enhance their wellbeing, promote independence and empower them for the future. We also work to improve the outcomes of these consumers to ensure they have a stable, positive future and they are equipped with skills that will help them overcome any obstacles they might face.
Our services include support with person-centred residential accommodation, accessing the community, accessing education, seeking employment (where appropriate), maintaining and making healthy life choices, accessing advocacy services, developing life skills training, local services access support and encouragement to move toward semi-independent living (where possible).
Our staff are highly trained, with not only the mandatory care certificate training, but including additional specialist trainings such Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) awareness; Learning Disability and Autism awareness; and soon to include the recently released Oliver McGowan Mandatory training on Learning Disability and Autism.
All our staff undergo rigorous vetting procedures and are Enhanced DBS checked, to ensure that our clients are safe and are receiving the appropriate level of support. In addition, we are committed to the ongoing development and training of our staff teams as we recognize that this is fundamental to ensuring that we need to have a team able to deliver high consistent high quality care at all times.
